EXCERPT:

Designed to revitalize the urban core of Anaheim, Stadium Lofts is an upscale retail and residential community featuring a vibrantly engaging architectural style. The mixed-use community, which was completed in November 2006, comprises more than 6 acres, 18,000 square feet of retail and commercial space and 390 apartments. This lively, energetic community attracts both residents and customers throughout the Anaheim area.

Location, location, location

“This was a fabulous location at the heart of the Platinum Triangle, directly across the street from Angel Stadium,” says Eric L. Heffner, Senior Vice President of Windstar, the owner of Stadium Lofts.

As the first community in Anaheim’s “Platinum Triangle” redevelopment district, Stadium Lofts is conveniently located in the heart of the triangle. The City of Anaheim envisioned the Platinum Triangle as a vibrant, 24-hour, high density, mixed-use urban environment—something completely unique to Orange County.

Dynamic design

The eye-catching design of Stadium Lofts features prairie-style architecture, including architectural details and styling inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. The building façade is articulated with balconies, striking roof elements and thematic details with balcony railings and colorful window treatments.

In Stadium Lofts, one particularly arresting design feature is the gorgeous tile and stone featured throughout the building. “Our company did the ceramic tile and stone in the Clubhouse, which is the main public area in the building, including installation of tile and stone on the reception lobby, outdoor salon, gallery, hall, loggia, main gallery and fireplaces,” says Lior Werner, President of Werner Tile Company, Inc. “We installed tiles in the main public area where people are entering the complex. This is the first impression that they are getting when they are entering the Clubhouse and the surrounding areas.”

Additionally, Stadium Lofts’ main retail edge features articulated storefronts and tasteful signage with loft residential units based above the commercial units. The 390 residential units include a mix of lofts and stacked flats, arranged in a four-story building. Ranging in size from 639 to 1,364 square feet, the residential units feature one to two bedrooms, plus two bedrooms and a den.
